WELCOME TO SOUTH COAST COFFEE

We have been on the Independent Coffee scene in Bournemouth since way back when. Originally part of the Boscanova family since 2008, South Coast Coffee was the ambition of a group of proper coffee lovers who wanted to create a space to enjoy delicious locally roasted craft coffee at a safe distance from the chains. We have come a long way since the night we first opened our doors on Richmond Hill but our philosophies and motivations have remained the same; to create banging coffee and delicious hand-made food in a unique space that encourages you to switch off and get lost in a great conversation. South Coast Coffee is as much your home as it is ours and we want you to get comfortable and leave the pressures of modern living at the door.

FOOD

We make all of our food to order, from scratch, every time and the secret to getting this right is to use heaps of fresh produce, which we source locally from a handful of proper good suppliers. Our kitchen might be small but our ambitions are extensive and we are always working on new ways to introduce interesting, delicious food to suit any time of the day.

Over the last 6 months we have introduced an extensive plant-based menu and our ambition is to develop an entirely vegan-friendly menu, which is flexible enough for all taste buds and preferences. Our team is currently busy constructing a new bar in the store, which we will run our very own juicery from over the coming months. This will enable us to offer delicious, cleansing juices every day to hit that spot just when you need it most.

Because we’re a committed bunch we often lay awake at night thinking about how our food tastes and looks to our customers so we experiment as much as we can and try to get the beautiful basics spot-on for every dish we serve. We pride ourselves on honest ingredients, ethically sourced, and presented in a clean, artistic and creative way.
